Meet Our Students: Mariana Caraballo

Mariana is16 years old and attends Bloomingdale High School. She is the secretary of her Thespian’s troupe and is a part of Bloomingdale’s yearbook team. In her free time she likes to read, write, act, and play the ukulele. Mariana’s favorite book is the Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath and in a close second is Fahrenheit 451. Mariana has a beagle named “Yogui”  and a chihuahua named “Chiki”. Her secret talent is playing the Harmonica, and her favorite song to play is “Piano Man”. She aspires to become a human rights lawyer or work for UNICEF. If she could have lunch with anyone, dead or alive, she would have lunch with Cleopatra. To her the Power of Giving is atomic and no matter the size of impact, great power lies within the value it brings to your soul.

Mariana’s introduction written by fellow Student Service Program members, Nishant Shah and Jana Astra. You can see the entire Class of 2027 here.
