Reflecting on the Corporate Mind & Body Clinic by Ryan Nece

For the first time, our foundation put on a Corporate Mind and Body Clinic in Tampa. A number of businesses sent their employees to be inspired, to learn, and to develop deeper bonds that will help them succeed in the business world. I couldn’t have been more pleased with the turnout and the positive impact we were able to make on business across the Bay.

Our dynamic speakers provided valuable content and shared information that really got everyone excited. I also thought the team building exercises were important, as they forced everyone out of their comfort zone and created an environment that allowed everyone to push their limits. I know in my own life it is easy to get caught up in the daily grind and sometimes I need a little motivation to get me going again.

After hearing Tino Martinez, Warrick Dunn, and Kory Knowles (former Navy Seal) share their wisdom, I was fired up and ready to work harder. The biggest takeaway for me is that we are responsible for how we create a positive environment around us. We do this by shaping our minds to focus on the positive, forgoing the temptation to focus on the negative. The key for most successful people is not intelligence, but rather having an amazing attitude.
