New members will enhance the Board’s vision to expand the Student Service Program by growing the Student Service Club™ school-based model into Pinellas and Pasco Counties.
TAMPA, FL – As the calendar flipped to 2026, the Ryan Nece Foundation was excited to welcome three new Board members who will each help support the foundation’s work to empower the next generation of servant leaders by creating opportunities for teens to embrace the power of giving.
“We’re excited to expand our Board with three new members who will bring varied expertise and insight to our mission, especially as we work towards ensuring more students in the Greater Tampa Bay Area have access to thoughtful leadership education and organized community service projects,” said Ryan Nece Foundation Chief Executive Officer Melissa Neeley.
The three new Board members began their three-year terms with Ryan Nece Foundation effective January 1, 2026 and can serve a maximum of three terms. The three new board members are:



- Keshia Butler, Certified Financial Education Instructor, Scraped Knee Finance LLC
- John H. Daniels, CNM, LFACHE, FHIMSS, CEO, BICSI
- Lalita Llerena, Manager of Internal Communications, TECO
Neeley added, “I also want to thank Heather Petrone who concluded her service as a valued Board member. Ever since joining the Board, Heather has gone above and beyond, spending hours upon hours of enhancing our storytelling through thoughtful video and content creation.”
Ryan Nece Foundation Board of Directors also elected Christopher Storey as its new Board Chair. Storey has served on the Ryan Nece Foundation Board since 2021 and most recently was the Board’s Vice Chair. The Board of Directors also elected to add McKibbon Hospitality’s Randy Hassen to their Executive Committee.
