Together We Can Change The World

Our last day in Detroit was bittersweet but nevertheless it was amazing. Today we gardened all day and got the chance to help make Detroit’s gardens beautiful. It was interesting to spend time in two contrasting environments: the bustling city and huge gardens full of everything from broccoli to fields of grass. It was a lot of hard work but it all paid off as we saw how much we accomplished in a short amount of time, and it was satisfying to see how much we could do together.
