Where Are They Now – Juanita Collins

Juanita Collins Advice

Juanita is currently doing case management for a non-profit that works with the mentally ill homeless. Community service is still a part of her everyday life as she finds houses for, does street outreaches to, and feeds the homeless. She says that her favorite SSP memories was their class trip to the DR and completing service projects around the Tampa Bay area to better our home. She says that the Ryan Nece SSP influenced her life “by growing that passion in me to help others.”  She also says that the program played a big role in her choosing her current job, as it was driven by the desire to help the community. Her advice to any current or future students in the program is “Take every opportunity you can to grow! If there are more programs or opportunities that are presented to you, go for it! Don’t be scared to put yourself out there!”
