Sweat, Paint, and Cement

Today I was at the Cigar Family’s baseball field. There I started my day by grabbing a shovel and mixing cement…by hand! Eventually I was turned to painting and was joined by many of the kids from the surrounding village. So many kids showed up I was barely even needed.

It was really impactful to see the kids jump up and without hesitation join us in helping to finish the baseball field. It was very impactful to see how ready the community was to make a change instead of just watching others make it happen. I feel this is how we should all live our lives.

Be the change you wish to see in the world…
