Meet Our Students: Kate Carlan

Kate is 16 years old and is a student at Shorecrest Preparatory School. The power of giving means a lot to her, because she loves to give back and help people in need. She is an active lacrosse player and will be playing for her school this upcoming season. She enjoys quality time with friends and her family, including two sisters and a brother. She started off working as a babysitter but now works at a salon. Her favorite movie is Crazy Rich Asians, favorite song is Enchanted by Taylor Swift, and her favorite ice cream flavor is cookies and cream!

Kate’s introduction was written by fellow Student Service Program member, Mary Grace Hyde. You can see the entire Class of 2026 here.
