The Power of ThanksGiving

On November 6, 2018, I was able to participate in the Power of Thanksgiving event at the Lealman center. This event aimed to serve Thanksgiving dinners to families, provide fun activities such as arts and crafts and give books to children. This event succeeded in providing meals to families with people of all ages with a total of 511 individual people. These meals were served in only 4 hours. I loved this event as I was a server which allowed me to seat the families and get them food. I liked this job because I got to interact with the families and it was great to see how happy everybody was to have this event. I was in control of one table and served many families with meals and desserts. At the end, I briefly helped with making the take-home dinner boxes. These boxes contained lots of food that would make multiple meals.
