Meet Our Students: Nowmi Iftekhar

Seventeen-year-old Nowmi Iftekhar moved to Florida from Bangladesh two years ago. She wants to have a job that deals with finance and economics when she grows up. That is why she is attending Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate High School. Although Nowmi is academically oriented, she also loves to make time for her other interests. You can find Nowmi playing violin, listening to R&B music, or tutoring kids. Nowmi has recently joined the Ryan Nece Foundation because she wants to do more in her community and hopes that this will be one step closer to taking her where she wants to be.

Nowmi’s introduction written by fellow Student Service Program member, Ana Abraham. You can see the entire Class of 2025 here.
