Meet Our Students: Ben Kanfer

Ben Kanfer is 16 and goes to Plant High School. He enjoys playing basketball, playing video games, and hanging out with his friends in his free time. His first job was being a summer camp counselor. Ben’s favorite ice cream flavor is mint chocolate chip, and if he could eat only one meal for the rest of his life, it would be steak. He has two older brothers and a black lab for a pet.  To him, the power of giving means understanding people from different backgrounds and how you can better their community. Ben’s favorite singer is Gunna, and his role model is Lebron James. His plan for the future is to attend UF.

Ben’s introduction written by fellow Student Service Program member, Brendan O’Conner.
