It feel crazy to say it, but today marks our last day as seniors in the Ryan Nece Foundation’s Student Service Program, as we transition into alumni programming.

El Yunque National Forest
To celebrate this transition, we spent the last day of our service-learning trip exploring El Yunque and skipping rocks in the river. The mood is bittersweet as everyone is reflecting back on what we’ve done for the program, and in turn, what it has done for us. All of us are extremely grateful and excited to see what the future holds for us.

A Note from 2026
Throughout our time in the Student Service Program, we’ve learned the importance of stepping up and serving our community and have seen the gratitude that comes as a result of it. Additionally, we are incredibly grateful for the friendships we have made during our time in the Ryan Nece Foundation, and will carry the lessons we’ve learned for the rest of our lives!
We hope that the next generation of students finds as much value from this program as we did.
Sincerely,
The Class of 2026
