Ryan Nece Foundation has been selected as March’s Winn-Dixie Community Bag Program beneficiary.

For the entire month of March, store leadership at Winn-Dixie’s 2100 W Swann Ave location has selected Ryan Nece Foundation to receive a $1 donation from every purchase of the $2.99 Winn-Dixie Community Bag.

The Community Bag Program facilitates community support with the goal to make a difference in the vicinities where shoppers live and work. More than $430,000 has been donated to over 9,000 local nonprofits since the Program launched in February 2019.

“We are excited to be this month’s beneficiary of the Community Bag Program through Winn-Dixie,” said Melissa Neeley, CEO of Ryan Nece Foundation. “Every little bit helps as we work to expand our programming to impact more youth in the Greater Tampa Bay Area.”

Founded in September 2006, the Ryan Nece Foundation creates opportunities for teens to embrace the Power of Giving through volunteerism and inspirational leadership programs. The flagship Student Service Program positively impacts teens by teaching them the principles needed to become the next generation of servant leaders in our community dedicated to lifelong volunteerism, philanthropy, and civic responsibility. This two-year program currently trains Greater Tampa Bay Area high school juniors to look beyond themselves, lead with empathy, and how to strategically serve their community and those in need.
